About the Role
As a Guardian 6 Consulting Drone Pilot, you will safely plan and execute drone operations while delivering high-quality imagery, video, mapping, and inspection services for a variety of clients. Our pilots represent our company on-site and are expected to demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and exceptional attention to safety.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Conduct commercial drone flights in compliance with FAA regulations.
Capture high-resolution aerial photography and cinematic video.
Perform pre-flight planning, risk assessments, and equipment inspections.
Maintain accurate flight logs and project documentation.
Coordinate with clients and project managers before, during, and after operations.
Produce organized photo and video deliverables.
Travel to project locations throughout Connecticut and neighboring states.
Maintain all required FAA and company safety standards.
Represent Guardian 6 Consulting with professionalism at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate in good standing.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Experience operating DJI or equivalent commercial drone platforms.
Strong understanding of FAA airspace regulations and safe flight operations.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and transport drone equipment (approximately 30 pounds).

Roof inspections
Thermal imaging
Drone mapping and photogrammetry
Experience using software such as:
DJI Pilot
DJI FlightHub
Pix4D
DroneDeploy
ArcGIS
Adobe Lightroom
Adobe Premiere Pro
FAA night operation experience.
Public safety, military, law enforcement, fire service, engineering, surveying, or construction background.
